I Am a Mother

So, I let Sun. slip by without a tear-jerker of a post; however, I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for privilege (not sure if I'd call it that every day, but hey!) of being a mother to 2 1/3 active but sweet little boys, having a superstar for a mother myself & appreciating so many motherly qualities in my extended family & friends!! You keep me sane & hopeful:) My days are brightened by your example, support & encouragement as together we experience all that it takes to nurture these precious little spirits & raising husbands too?! Hmm...you know I'm joking but will pay more tribute to him next month when it's his day:)

The boys look so studly in their new shirts. I am glad you had a good mothers day--you definately deserve it! You and Rach are such awesome examples to me. The boys are growing up so fast--I cant wait to see you all soon! Britty

Hey, it's an old Curtis friend...saw your blog link on Mikaela's and Erin's sites. Congratulations on the 3 cuties -- don't know what your third will look like, but there's no doubt he'll be cute! I'm totally into having my girls match outfits, so this picture resonated with me ;) You're a rockstar for running a marathon while pregnant!

So are we sure number three is a boy? I hadn't heard that one yet! You guys are such a cute fam. Love the action baseball shots in your post below. Your kids are sure to be great at baseball with Chris coaching them along!

Love that picture of you and the boys...and must say that they look rather studly in their orange...I need to find a cute ribbon that has some orange in it for when Annie wears hers :) You are an amazing mom...thanks for being such an example...some day I hope to have an inkling of the energy you do!

Lance's retort to Coles most recent Cole-oquialism is that he knows of a big cooler and freezer the Cole could eat ice cream in and he spends every day 2-11 in one:) haha--Gotta love Costco! britt

Beckie, I am cracking up right now! I've never read all the quotes down the side of your blog of the things your boys have said and tonight I had some time to read through them... so funny! My favorites are: Cole saying it will make you go "blonde" instead of blind, and Dane wanting a "larger human" to stay with him... that one struck me so funny that it's still making me laugh just writing about it. Oh, btw, you mentioned in that last quote that you were rearended. I'm so sorry to hear that... what a bummer! I'm assuming everyone was okay?

And lastly, your comment saying 2 1/3 boys... is that your way of announcing you're expecting a boy? I didn't take it too seriosuly because I think it's too soon yet for you to have found out... should be soon though, right? Keep us posted.

Hi Beckie, I love your boys' shirts. I was wondering if I could call you...about something really random...my friend is marrying a guy from Poland and is going to live there! So, if I remember correctly, you went on your mission there, right? I'd love to chat about it. Just email me your number. marnie_bergeson@hotmail.com. If you didn't go to Poland like I thought, then just disregard this...then you really know I have the toddler mother's brain fry!

Sorry we missed each other yesterday. I hope you got my message... I was hoping you would get it in time before we left for the evening, bummer!
